I got the Job :)
So, I no longer 'think' I got the job, I actually GOT THE JOB :)
So, as of Monday the 13th of May, I will be training as a Veterinary Nurse :)
I am so excited..... I cant wait.
The job is 3.5 to 4 days per week, which is 35 to 40 hours per week. That means I get 3 or 3.5 days off per week..... that is until September, when they will send me to college for one day per week.
I will get a dark blue nurses uniform to wear. I think the trousers are pretty ugly but I like the nurses tops :) Hehe.
I have no idea what I will be doing first :)
They said they would send me my contract and rota in the post soon. I am looking forward to getting it.
There are a few things I am nervous about...... like having to restrain animals..... I have never had to do that. I have had to pul dogs back when they have tried to start a fight with another dog, but never had to really restrain an animal!! Arrgh.
Looking forward to it all very much though :)
I guess there will not be anymore updates about the job until I get some stuff in the post or until I start.
Wish me luck :)

working in a vet hospital you wont have to deal too much with dogs fighting and having to get them apart. the best thing to do is get SOMETHING between them or between you and them, like a chair or something
Most of the "restraining" is just holding them steady while they're getting blood drawn, or being given a shot. and that for the most part is easy. more so with dogs than cats buts its not that horrible. once you get the hang of it its a cinch!
